About

Hi, welcome to my blog!

About Me:

My name is Jodi Greene, and I’m a stay-at-home wife and mama with a heart that follows hard after God. I married my high school sweetheart in September 1997 at the age of 18. We have one fun-loving daughter, born in June 2011, and we are raising her to be a Christ-follower, and to become a fierce and feminine warrior for God’s Kingdom. I work from home part-time as Business Content Writer and Social Media Manager, and we plan to home school our little girl.

We live in God’s greatest state, Colorado, and we love to camp, hike, and go Jeeping – that is, we take our Jeep to the mountains and see how many rocks we can climb over.   I also blog over at a site called Jeep with Kids.com!

I’m a bookworm and a fitness enthusiast, and I’m awed by grace. My passion is Christ and my goal is to be like Him. As a student of Jesus, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned – and what I continue to learn – of Him.

About the Blog:

I began this blog in 2010, as an outlet after having suffered a painful miscarriage that nearly took my life as well. I really had no idea what a blog even was at the time, but after a bit of coaxing from my husband, I did some research and prayerfully started putting my heart on a page.

Philosophies of Strawberry Short Cake is consistently evolving as I grow in the Lord, but my goal with this blog is to glorify God (1 Peter 4:11), to preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15), to earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 1:3), to testify to the truth (John 18:37), and to make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19).

Will you join me as we look into the Word of God, discover the footprints of Jesus, and follow Him?
